Mitesh Desai

Mr. Desai manages the day to day operations including product and technology direction and customer interactions for deployment planning and delivery. Mr. Desai brings 30 plus years of executive management experience in developing and delivering enterprise business applications, including solution design, product management, technology planning, software development, planning, and operations.

Prior to GigFlex, Mr. Desai was Founder and COO of WorkFlex Solutions, a leader in Intelligent Intraday Workforce Automation, which changed the way contact centers managed and empowered their workforce. WorkFlex Solutions was purchased by NICE Ltd, a global leader in the customer relationship management sector.

Before founding WorkFlex Solutions, Mr. Desai has led several organizations in marketing, business development, product management and solutions delivery prior to founding WorkFlex Solutions. Mr. Desai led the Global Channels team at MetaSolv, a software provider to world’s largest telecommunications & media companies, establishing partnerships and driving global business growth through partners. Mr. Desai left MetaSolv after their acquisition by Oracle. Mr. Desai led the Global Telecom Solutions Group at Compaq, and was responsible for managing the worldwide marketing and business development activities for Compaq’s telecommunications business. Mr. Desai provided leadership in shaping and driving Compaq’s strategies for the telecommunications industry, directed the development of integrated solutions in the service provider space, and managed partnerships with global telecommunications equipment providers. Mr. Desai left Compaq after the acquisition by Hewlett Packard.

Before joining Compaq, Mr. Desai spent more than fifteen years at Nortel Networks in assignments ranging from managing large scale product development to corporate strategy development. While at Nortel, Mr. Desai spent several years in Europe and Asia leading Nortel’s business growth and managed customer deliveries to customers in the region. He also led development teams in the design of communication systems, at Siemens Communications.

Mr. Desai has an MBA from Duke University and an Engineering Degree in Computer and Systems Eng.
